Every year Wichita has its Riverfest (used to be in May now it is June) Some year the design is better than others. This year the design is very cute and appealing towards parents with children, which I think is probably the largest audience who attened this social event. The design is cute and well-done, but maybe not quite fitting with a midwest "riverfest". My only complaint is that the facial expression as well as the "boat hat" makes the octopus a little too young.
Considering last year's rooster. This design is more effective and beautiful on soooo many levels: color, theme, style, and all-around fun. I will definitely be buying a button this year!

Bento Lunch
I have only consumed one bento lunch in my lifetime. It was
in Japan, everything was pickled and most of it was gross. But homemade bento
boxes can look tasty and adorable. Bento boxes have boomed into a new form of
art with wonderfully designed lunches in the shapes of animals or well known
characters. These lunches couldn't be cuter. Making lunch friendly can help
children make good choices, and might make it easier for grown-ups to give up
fast food and switch to homemade lunches. If I wanted to take an extra half
hour to hour in the morning to make my lunch I would totally make myself one of
these happy lunches:

Puppy Love
My last dog died in 2008, and it did take time for me to be ready for a new pet. But it as been two years since I have felt the itch for a new dog. The desperation has only grown now that I have a house with yard. Dogs are what I think about most days, even though I know that currently my house is not ready to add this furry friend. Tools everywhere and the fence will bow down in a single Kansas wind. We often find neighborhood pets in our yard from the weak fence.
Waiting is truly the hardest part, but I am hoping that by the time my birthday rolls around we might get the funds to build a fence and get a puppy. What breed should I get?
